The Prosecutor General, Hon. L. Matanda-Moyo, the NPAZ Board, senior management and staff join the nation in celebrating Zimbabwe’s Independence Day. The country’s independence was achieved through the sacrifices of its gallant sons and daughters in the pursuit of justice for all, dismantling the previous system that segregated black people.

As we celebrate Independence Day, the NPAZ reaffirms its commitment to upholding the rule of law through the efficient prosecution of crime and corruption without fear, favour, prejudice, or bias, thereby entrenching the ideals of our hard-won independence premised on equality and justice for all. The NPAZ’s vision of a just and peaceful society by 2030, can only be realised in an environment made possible by the independence we celebrate today, let’s cherish it.
