Training Department

Building capacity through training, strategic planning, and evaluation

Overview

The Training Department is responsible for identifying skills gaps, designing training programmes, and aligning organizational strategies with national development frameworks. It also leads monitoring and evaluation to ensure institutional performance and impact.

Core Functions

Training Needs Assessments (TNA)

Conduct comprehensive Training Needs Assessments to identify skills, knowledge, and attitudes gaps across the Authority.

Programme Design & Delivery

Design, plan, deliver, coordinate, and evaluate training programmes, seminars, and workshops tailored to employees and organizational development needs.

External Funding

Identify and pursue external funding opportunities for specialized training programs and initiatives.

Training Policies & Procedures

Facilitate the development of training policies and procedures that support the organization’s objectives and compliance requirements.

Strategic Planning

Lead the formulation, review, and alignment of the Authority’s strategic plans with national development frameworks.

Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E)

Design and implement robust M&E frameworks for projects, programmes, and institutional performance for the Authority.
