The Litigation Section is responsible for prosecuting criminal cases in the Magistrates Courts and High Court on behalf of the State. Prosecutors in this section handle a wide range of offences and ensure that cases are prepared and presented professionally.

The section works closely with the Zimbabwe Republic Police and other investigative agencies to ensure thorough case preparation, fair prosecution, and respect for the rights of victims and accused persons.

Through dedicated prosecution teams stationed across the country, the Litigation Section supports the NPA's constitutional mandate to combat crime and uphold the rule of law.
