Inspectorate Department Overview

The National Inspectorate, Training, Legal Reform, Research and Anti-Corruption Unit of the National Prosecuting Authority (The Inspectorate Unit) is the internal watchdog which monitors and oversees the internal affairs of the NPA. The Unit ensures compliance with NPA standard operating procedures and drives continuous improvement in prosecution standards.

Through constant monitoring of case loads, enforcement of uniform prosecution standards, and evaluation of quality assurance processes, the Inspectorate Unit strengthens the integrity and effectiveness of the criminal justice system across Zimbabwe.
